Back Yamma

No garmins, no powermeters, no heart rate monitors just me, my mrs and two of Giant's finest steeds cruising the trails of Back Yamma State Forest in Parkes NSW. If you've never been here, put it on the must ride list. The trails are fast and flowy built on the richest red earth you've ever seen. Perfect for riding on. The forest is just beautiful and the only company you get out here are a few cattle and some healthy pods of grey kangaroo. The place is riddled with single track and while at times I had to stop and check my bearings it's not too hard to find your way back to the trail head as the forest in pretty much fenced in surrounded by grazing stations. Optus reception is sporadic but good enough if you are using motion-x on your iPhone. It barely got above 6 deg this afternoon, but the sun did poke it's head out late in the afternoon just to warm us up a little. Tomorrow it's back to sample the trails of Kinross
Keep riding
Mike
